Show and Tell

Bring applications to life

Vericant Show and Tell gives applicants a simple way to share an interest, talent, experience, or part of their personality through a short, self-recorded video.

More than an application can show

Applications show grades, activities, and accomplishments. Show and Tell gives students a brief, personal space to share something that matters to them, whether it is a talent, project, special interest, meaningful experience, or another part of their story.

Simple for applicants. Valuable for schools.

Available for K-12 applications

Applicants record their Show and Tell video directly within the Vericant platform. They can review their recording and try again as many times as needed before saving it. Once the video is complete, applicants add a title and short message explaining what they have chosen to share. The result is a simple and applicant-directed addition that helps admissions teams understand more about the person behind the application.

Every student has something meaningful that may not fit naturally into an application form or traditional interview.

Examples of what a student may share:

  • A talent, performance, or piece of creative work
  • A meaningful activity or personal project
  • A special interest or accomplishment
  • An object with personal or cultural significance
  • An experience that shaped the student’s perspective
  • Something the student simply wants the school to know
